Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse distribution and mechanical knowledge, with experience operating various heavy equipment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Duties

Operate order pickers, forklifts, and clamp trucks to efficiently load and unload materials. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management. Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage orders effectively. Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Assist in order picking processes, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Participate in training sessions for heavy equipment operation and safety procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on distribution operations. Familiarity with mechanical systems and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and inventory control. Knowledge of construction practices can be beneficial for understanding equipment use. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
