. This position will commence on February 2, 2026 and will continue to June 26, 2026. The initial assignment will include Jr. High Language Arts and Senior High CTS.

Fairview High School offers complete programming for grades seven though twelve. Our schools programming covers both academic and non academic courses coupled with a large variety of electives. Junior high students are offered Industrial Arts, Home Economics and French as well as Art and Computer programs. Fairview High School is fortunate to have partnered with Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP) - Fairview campus to offer the senior high students the opportunity to use the new fitness center in Phys. Qualifications:
Experience and/or training in teaching junior high level grades.
Excellent communications skills with students, staff and parents.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success.
Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students' achievement.
Strong classroom management skills.
A keen understanding of assessment practices.
The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom .
Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application.

Annual Salary Range: $ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division).
