The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.56 f.t.e.) Temporary Educational Assistant . This position will commence immediately and continue until May 30, 2025. The successful candidate will provide classroom support in a kindergarten setting. Manning Elementary is a K-6 school of about 150 students in northern Alberta.



It is located in Manning, Alberta which is approximately three hours north of Grande Prairie. Qualifications: Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent is preferred Experience working with children Skills: Ability to work with children with varied ages, skill level, needs and abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers Ability to work as part of a team and independently Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records Requirements: Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application. Rate of Pay: $20.72 to $25.99 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
