Pay

$18.50/hr

Schedules Available

Weekend Work Saturday and Sundays 20-24 hours per weekend Must be available for flex-time or schedule changes based on business needs for Saturdays; Must be available for holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Very physical Working in hot, cold, dusty and dirty environments; Work in confined spaces to perform sanitation function in Weld Shop and Paint Booths; Work from heights to sanitize robotics, clear paint, and remove covers; Cleaning in weld or paint operations area and remove slag, build up from paint etc. with hand tools and cleaning equipment; MANDATORY Wearing of PPE: Respirators, coveralls, helmets, retrieval harness, steel toed footwear (OHSA approved) 6" over ankle, SD (static dissipating), Safety glasses; Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift to move materials and carry supplies; Perform physically repetitive tasks: work in a fast-paced environment, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, using stairs, reaching, scrubbing, prolonged standing and walking; Follow all instructions, safety policies and procedures; Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in industrialized cleaning or heavy general labour is considered an asset; Availability to work on weekends; Motivated and self-driven, with a willingness to learn; Strong attention to detail; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be available to reliably commute to Cambridge, ON for work.
