to teach our in-person Coding and Robotics Classes at host locations! This is a part-time contracting position, with opportunities to grow and become a permanent lead instructor and work in other locations of Wize Computing Academy. It is an ideal position for Elementary school teachers for supplement income, Stay at home Parents or University students aiming for a career in Teaching or Education. Full training will be provided a week before the start date.
The successful candidates for this position should be able to provide a close-knit learning environment for students and be capable of integrating technology into the curriculum.

Responsibilities
:
- Deliver engaging STEM/STEAM after-school program sessions using our curriculum, fostering curiosity and innovation among students.
- Prepare in advance for each session, utilizing the provided curriculum to create interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
- Communicate with parents in person and via email after each session, providing updates on student progress and achievements.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all participants, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Provide regular updates to our Program Coordinator and Admin Lead, sharing insights and feedback for program improvement.
- Ensuring timely arrival and departure from various VSB school locations.
- Maintain a commitment to the role for at least six months, with
availability from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on weekdays.
- Carry Robotics Equipment/Electronic Devices to host locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Tech-savvy - Understanding of technology, including software, programming, and hardware.
- Person of high moral character who is good with kids.
- Passionate about computer science and learning.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and address varying needs.
- Classroom management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Energetic & willing to learn new things.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must have a vehicle to travel to host locations (Vancouver Mainland, Richmond and Burnaby BC) and carry teaching equipment like laptops, tablets, robotic kits, etc.
