Regular Part-Time Support Staff, replacement position
(First consideration for support staff and academic positions will be given to internal applicants in accordance with the respective collective agreements)
The Academic Upgrading department is seeking a qualified individual to provide administrative and clerical support. This role involves semi-routine tasks related to student intake, data management and general office operations.
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work on-site, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cambridge campus located at 150 Main St. The Support Services Officer will be scheduled for 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities

Student intake and support
Serve as the first point of contact for phone, email, and in-person inquiries
Provide general information about the college and campus
Schedule Academic Upgrading and Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) pre-assessment appointments
Prepare and distribute assessment packages
Support student orientation and registration, including completion of Ministry-required documentation
Assist students with Training Support Allowance (TSA) forms and related inquiries
Data entry and records management
Input and maintain student data in EOIS CaMS, Laserfiche, and Student Information Systems
Track attendance and follow up on absences as directed
Ensure student files (physical and digital) are accurate, complete, and compliant with Ministry guidelines
Process student exits and update records accordingly
Maintain confidentiality and securely purge records per Ministry requirements
Administrative support
Submit purchase and print orders
Monitor and replenish supplies and marketing materials within budget parameters
Assemble and update course modules to meet AODA standards
Prepare notifications for workshops and special events
Provide feedback on student inquiries and attendance trends
Qualifications

Completion of a one-year certificate in Office Administration is required
Minimum two years of relevant administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Familiarity with EOIS CaMS is an asset
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of general office procedures, including purchasing, inventory, and filing
