Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper food handling and safety standards. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service expectations.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus.
