Job Summary

We are looking for a

Part-time Server

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs throughout their visit at our Thai restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Ensure accurate order entry into the POS system and communicate effectively with the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash and process payments accurately, ensuring basic math skills are applied effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to food safety and handling standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with food preparation as needed during peak hours or when required by kitchen staff. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train first time servers. Knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills are essential for processing payments accurately. A background in kitchen operations or hospitality can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 21 per week
