Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation. Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times. Assist with hosting duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling practices. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs efficiently. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities is essential. Experience in bussing or host/host roles is advantageous.
