Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will play a vital role in providing memorable dining experiences by serving food and beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas, service stations, and utensils

Experience

Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order management Experience in serving or restaurant operations is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 24 per week
