Position Summary



Under the direction of the F&B Supervisor the Beverage Server is responsible for providing exceptional and quality food and beverage service in high volume areas. Responsibilities include preparation work and server-side duties in a team environment.

Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia's culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.



Job Duties



Provides exceptional guest service to casino guests Provides food and beverage service following established standards of service Cleans and buses section Responsible for communicating any potential issues or concerns regarding responsible beverage service Works as a member of the team and provides support to co-workers on shift to ensure an overall positive guest experience for all casino guests Responsible for handling various financial transactions involving beverage service to guests. Responsible for re-stocking of products and supplies, cleaning, and others duties as required Provides efficient and exceptional service to our guests in a friendly, professional and positive manner at all times as they are ambassadors of Casino Nova Scotia Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed Finds ways to

Minimum Qualifications



Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required Completion of the Responsible Service Certificate "Serve Right - it's just good business" is required (training offered) POS & Cash handling experience required One-year food and beverage serving experience in either a bar or restaurant setting required Demonstrated strong sales and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize Must have the ability to stand and carry a tray for the duration of a shift Must be able to work quickly, under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment Demonstrated knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Beer is required Satisfactory attendance required Must be pleasant, positive, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task * Must be able to communicate well with your fellow team members
