Kingston General Hospital - 76 Stuart

Hours:

Saturdays & Sundays

Rotational - 0600-1400/1400-2200

Pay Rate:

$22.61/hourly

:

• Proactive & reactive security patrols
• Response to incidents
• Report writing
• Investigate routine incidents
• Parking and smoking enforcement/by-laws
• Policy awareness and enforcement
• Additional Duties as Assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have

+ Valid Security License for the prvince of Ontario
+ Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C from WSIB-approved source
+ Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience (or relevant equivalant experience)
+ Proof of CV vaccinations

• Must be able to

+ Complete extensive patrolling of interior and exterior of site (including in inclement weather)
+ Remain calm in emergency situations
+ Follow and enforce site rules and regulations as set out by both the client and Paladin
+ Operate independently as well as part of a team to complete tasks
+ Complete reports at the end of shift as well as incident reports

• Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
• 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites:
1. Immunization Record
2. Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccination
3. A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
4. First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSBI-approved vendor)
5. Proficient in English (both oral and written)
