Part-Time Science Teacher
to support high school students (Grades 9 -12) in
Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a structured, supportive environment while gaining valuable teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics to students in Grades 9-12 following the Ontario and IB curriculum.
Deliver engaging in-person sessions at our Burlington learning centre and online lessons when needed.
Assess student progress and adapt lessons to individual needs and learning styles.
Provide progress reports, attend meetings, and participate in training as required.
Support student success through review sessions and personalized learning strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (required).
2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of the Ontario Science Curriculum.
Experience working with students with learning challenges is an asset.
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills

Effective one-on-one and small group teaching techniques.
Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Strong written and organizational skills.
Additional Information
Classes run Monday to Friday between
3:30 pm - 8:30 pm
. Flexible scheduling available.
Ongoing training and support provided.
Compensation based on experience.
