We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join Raes Bistro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in the planning of menus, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role within the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
