We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued to enhance the shopping experience for diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and technical specifications Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote products effectively Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction Manage time efficiently to assist multiple customers during busy periods Support store operations by performing cashier duties, restocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred Multilingual or bilingual skills (e.g., English plus additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey product information and build rapport with customers Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques will be advantageous Ability to work well within a team while independently managing customer interactions
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
