Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Part Time Sales Associate to join our soon-to-open store in Kingsway Mall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience, showcasing products, and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions. This position requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a knack for technology sales.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide them with assistance throughout their shopping experience. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Utilize effective communication skills to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction. Manage cash handling processes accurately, including cashiering duties and processing transactions through the POS system. Maintain an organized sales floor through effective merchandising techniques. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing. Provide technical sales support for technology-related products, addressing customer inquiries with confidence. Exhibit strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Uphold high standards of customer service by responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries via phone etiquette.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management effectively. Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment and manage inventory efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike. A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer needs and preferences. Familiarity with technology sales, including the ability to conduct product demos effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
