We're Hiring: Part-Time Team Member at Armour's Meats

Armour's Meats is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented person to join our team! This part-time position offers hands-on experience in both the retail and production sides of our local meat shop. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and take pride in quality and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities Include:

Vacuum sealing and labeling fresh meat products Assisting with retail sales and customer service Light administrative tasks such as order prep and inventory updates Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areas

Greet and assist customers

in a friendly and professional manner

Answer questions

about products, cuts of meat, cooking tips, and inventory availability

Operate the point-of-sale system

to process transactions accurately (cash, debit, credit)

Restock display cases and retail fridges/freezers

with fresh and frozen products

Maintain cleanliness and organization

of the retail space, counters, and checkout area

Monitor product presentation

to ensure displays are appealing and fully stocked

Handle customer orders

(walk-ins, phone-in, and pre-orders), including packing and labeling

Track and report low stock

to management to help with reordering and planning

Upsell or recommend products

based on customer interest (e.g., specials, bundles, new items)

Ensure compliance

with food safety and handling regulations in the retail area

? What We're Looking For:

Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail Physically capable of lifting boxes (up to 50 lbs) and being on your feet Comfortable working in cooler/freezer environments Good communication and customer service skills Previous retail or food handling experience is an asset, but not required Willingness to learn and support wherever needed

Pay: $15.65-$18.00 per hour
