What we need

We are currently seeking a Rituals Artisan who is highly motivated to learn new skills and engage in our Rituals Program. Reporting to the Rituals Manager, the Rituals Artisan will participate in bringing the Ritual Experiences to a higher level to ensure our guests have unforgettable quality time in our spa village. Our spa guests will experience spa rituals and singing bowls from all over the world. He/she will spread the spirit of our sauna rituals and treatments in our spa.

Perform daily rituals and treatments to our spa guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience; + Our rituals include guided meditations, steam room body-treatment facilitation, guiding stretching in a sauna, and Aufguss- a sauna ritual involving the use of intricate towel waving, aromatherapy and music to create a multisensory experience
Provide impeccable customer experience, according to the standards dictated by our brand; Participate in the creation of new rituals and integrate treatments from all over the world in the Spa village experience; Participate in continuous training and development; Follow the daily processes and rituals; Facilitate yoga inspired stretching and guided meditations; Facilitate body treatments in steam rooms; Participate in organising events, seminars and workshops in the Spa village; Participate in opening and closing activities of the site by ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises; Perform any other related duties.

Profile needed

What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position:

Good physical health and an absence of chronic pain or injury: tolerance to working in a very hot environment; Curiosity in learning new skills and an ability to speak and perform in front of an audience; Experience in guest services, the wellness, hospitality (yoga, dance, theater) or tourism industry is an asset; Exposure/knowledge of aromatherapy, self-care practices, and wellness initiatives; Affinity with nature and enjoy learning about herbs and plants; Interest in a healthy lifestyle and in the world of wellness in general; Embodies the spirit of hospitality;

When

You will work a varying schedule which requires flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings and holidays. This is a part time position.

The salary is based on the pay scale and benefits in effect at Thermea Spa Village Whitby.
