Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise personal support care services provided to residents by all personal support workers; responsible for all first line day to day care services;
Monitor and ensure that Residents are receiving care according to their service plan.
Assesses a resident's condition, and initiates remedial health measures; monitor health and well being of all Residents.
Maintains accurate and complete clinical records on all residents, including care plans
Completes admission documentation, care plan, advanced directives
Arranges for additional services through OHH (PSS, wound care)
Ensures orders are correctly processed and recorded; safe keeping of all medications
Assists in maintaining a physical and psychosocial environment which meets the needs of the residents.
Assists with activities related to Infection Control Program
Supervises all staff in the dining room at all meals
Assists in maintaining adequate quantities of nursing care supplies
Interact with resident and/or families to resolve concerns.
Qualifications:
Registered in Good Standing with CNO
Current CPR and First Aid
Knowledge of Resident Bill of Rights
Highly motivated individual;
Demonstrates strong ethical decision making skills;
Demonstrates critical thinking abilities;
Positive interpersonal skills;
Strong time management skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Available for all shifts: days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays and call ins.
Experience with Gerontology
Knowledge of eMAR

Shift premium for weekends $0.45
