Job Summary:

The Spa Attendant is responsible for housekeeping & guest experience representative duties including orienting guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests, providing personal guest service, and performing all cleaning duties. They are responsible for keeping the treatment rooms, and other guest areas neat, clean and stocked with all amenities and supplies. They must be client-focused, organized, and attentive to detail.

Position hours:

Saturdays: 10 am-6 pm

Sundays: 10 am - 6 pm

Mondays: 10am - 6 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Issue slippers to guests, and escort guests to their treatment rooms.

Provide orientation tours, explain and offer spa amenities, and answering guests' questions.

Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the entire area.

Stock treatment room supplies, amenities, towels, and maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets.

Collect, change, fold and put away laundry as needed, do daily laundry as per schedule

Review guest appointments/schedules as needed and check guests in & out.

Clean and turn over all treatment rooms according to the sanitizing standards required by GLOW Beauty Bar & Health Canada

Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, memberships and/or discounts available.

Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.

Perform regular deep cleaning, daily cleaning and sanitizing, opening and closing procedures, and other daily and scheduled cleaning tasks

Must have obsessive attention to detail and cleaning knowledge

Education and Experience Requirements (preferred but not required):

Minimum of 1 year of previous cleaning experience

Previous spa experience is preferred but not required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

CPR Certification is a plus, but not required

Language Skills:

Be able to understand and communicate in the English language

Ability to read MSDS labels for safe handling

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram format

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
