Job Description

What you'll do:

Serve customers on the sales floor and at the front checkouts in a fast paced business environment. Stock merchandise on the correct counter and space according to company standards including pricing. Maintain planogram integrity by keeping planogram clean and front facing the department(s). Keep the work area clean and hazard free. Follow safe work habits as per Company policy and procedure. Maintain backroom standards, e.g. ensure egress are not blocked, carts are placed appropriately. Unload and unpack shipments, verifying quantities, and checking for damages. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and identifying potential shortages. Other duties including but not limited to tasks such as generating price tags, assisting with special displays, etc.

Enjoys seeing the results of their efforts. Confident hitting goals and shift targets. Openness to working between the hours of 5 am to 10:30 pm, including weekends. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to climb and descend ladders in a safe and efficient manner. Experience stocking shelves in a grocery or retail environment would be an asset. Experience working in the Fresh departments (Produce and/or Meat, Bakery or Deli) would be an asset. Experience operating a pallet jack or power jack would be an asset. Computer skills would be an asset. First Aid certification would be an asset.
