Job Description

Our client pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to manage operations from

1 pm to 8 pm

every Monday and Thursday

. This is a permanent position and includes providing consultations to both customers and healthcare providers, practicing within your full scope of professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in maintaining the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy. Adhere to federal/provincial regulatory and legal requirements. Ensure customer confidentiality and manage consent in compliance with privacy regulations. Offer counseling on prescriptions as well as over-the-counter and behind-the-counter products. Provide professional services to the full extent of your capabilities. Maintain visibility and professionalism to the public. Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive customer care. Maintain records in accordance with legislation, practice standards, and company policy.

Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of PropelRx

Demonstrate independent thinking and problem-solving abilities. Plan, coordinate, delegate assignments, and provide coaching to Pharmacy colleagues. Drive business growth, lead by example, and support enterprise programs. Exhibit a commitment to exceptional customer service. Possess superior customer relations skills and maintain a strong sense of professionalism. Solve problems effectively and execute action plans as needed. Show proficiency in personal computing and knowledge of Pharmacy systems. Follow Health & Safety procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
