Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology and acute care, with a focus on pediatrics and medication administration in a hospital setting.

Duties
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
Dispense medications accurately while providing patient counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness, safety, and adherence.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
Conduct medication administration training for nursing staff as needed.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient profiles in compliance with legal regulations.
Provide drug information and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacotherapy and patient care.
Proficient in acute care practices with experience in pediatrics preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providers.
