We're looking for a

Part-Time Payroll Specialist

to join our People & Operations team. This role will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and internal policies.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees across Canada and the U.S. Verify employee data, timesheets, and pay adjustments for accuracy prior to submission. Coordinate with HR to ensure new hires, terminations, and changes are reflected accurately in the payroll systems. Calculate and process vacation pay, overtime, deductions, and other entitlements in accordance with employment standards. Support year-end reporting, including T4s, ROEs, and W-2s. Respond to payroll-related inquiries promptly and professionally. Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with Finance to ensure payroll expenses are accurately recorded and reconciled. Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.

What You'll Need:

2+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably across multiple provinces/states. Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation; experience with U.S. payroll is an asset. MUST HAVE experience with: ADP and Payworks for Canadian payroll. PayTrax for U.S. payroll. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines. PCP certification or enrollment in the Payroll Compliance Practitioner program is an asset. Part-time position: approximately 20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
