Acrylic & Watercolour Painting Instructors (Adults, Beginner & Intermediate Level)
We are seeking
two passionate and experienced Painting Instructors
(Acrylic and Watercolour) to lead an8-session program
designed for adult learners. If you have a strong foundation in visual fine arts, a love for teaching, and the ability to create a welcoming and inspiring learning environment, we'd love to hear from you!Responsibilities
Lead an engaging
8-session painting program
for adult students. Teach eitherwatercolour
oracrylic painting techniques
(e.g., colour mixing, layering, brushwork) that guide students to complete a finished artwork. Prepare and submit lesson plans and material lists for review. Foster apositive, supportive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere
for up to 16 participants. Manage classroom setup and cleanup before and after each session.Requirements
Degree in Fine Arts
(or equivalent training) with2-3 years of teaching experience
. Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons. Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with adult learners. A validVulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
completed within one year of employment. Enthusiasm for inspiring creativity and adapting to a range of skill levels.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Vaughan, ON (L4L, Peel District): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
teaching : 2 years (required)
