New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Meat Team Member at our Food Store in Valleyview, Alberta.

What you'll do:

Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe, and sanitary work environment Ensure all meat products are accurately priced and a proper rotation is maintained in the coolers and retail area Build and maintain merchandise display in the meat department Respond to all customer inquiries regarding different cuts, serving sizes and other product related questions in a courteous and well-informed manner Maintain the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness while ensuring all Food Safety guidelines, procedures and requirements are always adhered to Perform additional duties as required

Who you are and what you have:

Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Enthusiastic approach to work with strong leadership skills Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations Able to work independently and in a team Can handle cool temperatures, and heavy lifting may be required (up to 50lbs) Available to work on a flexible schedule
