Part-Time Clerk I

for our

Meat Departmen

t in

North Battleford, SK.

What you'll do:

Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Meat Department.


Responsible for packaging, wrapping, displaying and pricing of meat products for sale to customers. Ensures meats are packaged a timely fashion while maintaining product levels for quality and quantity Maintains and ensures compliance with Discovery Co-op standards, government food and sanitation, health and safety standards. Ensures all guests are provided with a prompt, professional, accurate, efficient and friendly service. To perform duties and responsibilities of a receiver To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude To be dependable for all scheduled shifts To ensure outstanding courteous guest service is provided at all times To perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:


Experience in customer service or relevant meat experience is an asset. Co-operative retail experience is an asset. You must be available for days, evenings and weekends Must be comfortable working with different types of equipment such as computerized wrapping machines, meat slicers, pricing equipment, step ladders, etc. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work regularly in cooler temperatures due to products in department. You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
