Then read on!About the JobWe are currently looking for 1 or 2 part-time Market Specialists to work in our On-Farm Market for anywhere from 15 up to 25 hours per week. In this role you will gain a wide variety of experience from sorting beautiful produce, restocking displays, greeting and serving customers, maintaining a safe environment through disinfecting surfaces, and fulfilling online grocery orders for delivery or curbside pick-up.A few highlights of being a Lee and Maria's team member:

Important Details: Part-time: 15 to 25 hours per week depending on your availability. 2 or 3 shifts through the week or weekend. There is the potential for more hours if desired.Hours: 4-6 hour shiftsPay: Minimum wage to start with the opportunity to growIncentives: 25% discount on everything in the market, except for beer, wine, and spirits (and amazing teammates!)Seasonal: Now - until the end of December, brief seasonal close, returning in early SpringResponsibilities

• Sort, prep, and trim produce, then stock displays - high quality produce is our top priority!
• Continually checking produce displays and restocking to ensure the look and feel of the Market is consistent
• Assist the team in ensuring the store is disinfected for safe shopping during the pandemic
• Reviewing the products on the shelves and repositioning when needed
• Ensure the Market is clean and tidy, floors are swept, shelves are clean and cooler doors are wiped down
• Occasional inventory duties as required
• Serve all customers with a positive and professional attitude!

About YouDo you have:

• Previous retail or produce experience?
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities with a smile on your face?
• The ability to frequently lift 50 lbs (bags of potatoes, etc)?
• Smart Serve Certification is required along with Food Handler Certification, but if the candidates do not have this at the time of hire Lee & Maria's will work with the successful candidates to obtain these certifications and will reimburse costs after the successful completion of the probationary period
