We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed
Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
