Position Overview:

We are seeking a

Part-Time Industrial Painter

to join our manufacturing team in Rathwell, MB. This role involves surface preparation, sandblasting, and painting steel products to ensure a durable and professional finish.

Experience with polyurethane paints is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare steel components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and surface prep work. Sandblast steel components to remove rust, scale, and old coatings. Apply primers, polyurethane paints, and protective coatings using spray equipment. Operate a forklift to move and position products for prep, painting, and storage. Inspect finished work for quality and consistency. Maintain painting, sandblasting, prep, and forklift equipment. Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:

Experience in industrial painting, surface prep, and/or sandblasting.

Ability to safely operate a forklift to move products.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Physically able to handle materials and equipment.

Preferred:

Experience with polyurethane paints. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of industrial coatings.

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time position.

Hours may vary depending on experience, availability, and ability to take on tasks outside the painting process.

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
