weekdays and some weekends

from 2pm-10pm and 9am-2pm. The Pool Attendant position helps to create a fun & safe environment for guests visiting the hotel pool area as well as assisting other departments in providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

General supervision of the pool area including adherence to all safety rules. Maintaining constant surveillance of guests in the facility. Acting immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an emergency. Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of EMS. Ensuring familiarity with pool operations and ability to efficiently perform readings pertaining to pool and spa levels. Keeping the pool area clean. Recording any incidents that occur in the pool or pool area. Complying with OH&S guidelines and the hotel's pool safety plan. Assisting other departments, when required.

Your Background:

Basic Life-Saving Skills (CPR Level C/First Aid) but will train the right candidate. As per Provincial legislation, candidates must be 16 years of age or older. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to move and lift heavy furniture and equipment. Good time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures. Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor. Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours.
