Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Hotel Catering Manager to join our team for a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering and event management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all catering operations within the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.

- Lead and manage the catering team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

- Collaborate with clients to plan and customize catering menus for various events hosted at the hotel.

- Ensure smooth execution of events, from setup to cleanup, while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction.

- Manage inventory and procurement of catering supplies and equipment.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

- Monitor and control catering budgets to achieve financial targets.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hotel catering or food service management is preferred.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

- Knowledge of food safety practices and event planning principles.
