Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave
- Manage seating arrangements
- Provide menus and relay menu questions to appropriate staff
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and experience with POS systems is a plus
- Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not required
