Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home support to clients of all ages, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of those in their care. Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with dementia patients is highly valued. Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication reminders Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Support patients with mobility challenges through proper lifting techniques Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns

Qualifications

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support Strong communication skills and compassionate nature Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality home care services

Must be comfortable with personal care - Experience with catheter maintenance, toileting and physiotherapy routines is an asset.
