Job Title: Group Piano Teacher (Thursdays)

Music Schools International, LangleyMusic Schools International Langley is seeking a passionate and dynamic Group Piano Teacher to join our exceptional team and teach our group piano program on Thursdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching children ages 4-12, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruct group piano classes up for children ages 4-10, utilizing the Group Piano curriculum. Teach in solfege and incorporate basic singing into the group lessons. Engage students with a fun, energetic, and creative teaching approach. Provide instruction in a supportive, inclusive, and motivating environment.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in music from a recognized university or college, or RCM Grade 8 certification or higher. Previous experience teaching early childhood music classes and knowing solfege is an asset. At least 1 year of group teaching experience is preferred. Must possess a passion for working with children and creating a lively atmosphere. Ability to teach at the school for in-person lessons
Training and Start Date:
Training will be provided to learn how to teach our Group Piano curriculum. The position will start asap after training has been completed.
