SpiderSmart Learning Center of Waterloo is seeking

enthusiastic and qualified educators

to join our team as

part-time French tutors

. In this role, you'll work with students in

small-group settings (up to 3 students per class)

using our

ready-to-use SpiderSmart curriculum

, or have the opportunity to

develop and enhance our in-center French program

.

We are looking for teachers who can deliver

French language instruction

to students in

Grade 1 to Grade 8 and above

in an engaging, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Teach small-group sessions (up to

3 students per class

) following the SpiderSmart curriculum and methodologies Provide individualized feedback and guidance to help students improve their French reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills Track student progress and communicate results effectively Create a positive, focused, and encouraging learning atmosphere

Qualifications (Required)

Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)

, or accepted into an OCT program (starting September or earlier) Minimum

Bachelor's degree

At least

one year of teaching or tutoring experience

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

Experience teaching or tutoring

French (Core, Extended, or Immersion)

Experience working with children in classroom or tutoring settings Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and academic levels Passion for language education and student development
