Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for the French language, and helping students achieve their language learning goals. This position requires a strong understanding of both the French language, along with effective teaching methodologies to inspire students of varying skill levels.

Duties

Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive French lessons for Grades 5 to 12. Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and school goals. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence in language learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects. Provide regular feedback to students and parents on learning outcomes. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, technology, and resources to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success. Maintain accurate student records and attend staff meetings when required.

Experience

A degree in Education, French Language, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching experience, particularly in a classroom setting, is highly desirable. University experience is a plus, providing an understanding of academic expectations and student engagement strategies. Strong communication skills in both French and English are essential for effective instruction and interaction with students. A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student success in language acquisition.
