Job Summary

We are seeking passionate Florists to join our team. The candidate must have at least ONE(1) YEAR FLORIST EXPERIENCE. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. A love for gardening and landscape maintenance is a plus, as well as experience in sales and cash handling.

Responsibilities

Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on floral care. Handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system. Maintain an organized workspace and ensure that the shop is clean and visually appealing. Assist with inventory management. Engage in landscape maintenance tasks when required, ensuring that outdoor displays are well-kept. Utilize multilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.

Requirements

Must have a MINIMUM ONE(1) YEAR EXPERIENCE in floral design. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; multilingual abilities are a plus. Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for gardening and knowledge of plant care is desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
