We are an education center in Richmond, BC, offering art, English, and enrichment programs for children. Our programs include seasonal camps (Winter, Spring, Summer) and year-round classes, designed to help students develop English skills, creativity, and confidence in communication.
Positions Available:
Storybook English Teacher
(ages 5-10)* Teach young students to create and illustrate their own English storybooks.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through creative storytelling and art.
Inspire imagination and confidence in children.
Bonus:
Candidates with basic drawing skills, suitable for simple storybook illustrations, are highly encouraged to apply. Professional-level drawing is not required.
English Teacher - Speech, Storytelling & Writing
(ages 5-12)* Teach English Public Speech, Storytelling, and Writing during camp sessions and occasional classes during the school year.
Guide students in developing their own stories, improving presentation skills, and expressing ideas in English.
Create an interactive, engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.
Responsibilities for Both Positions:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Provide constructive feedback and support to individual learners.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in students.
Communicate student progress to parents.
Requirements:
Native-level English proficiency
Teaching experience with children preferred (classroom, workshops, tutoring, or camps)
Strong communication, storytelling, and creative teaching skills
Patience, energy, and a positive teaching style
Flexible and reliable, especially during camp periods (for seasonal position)
Bachelor's degree required
Work Location:
Richmond, BC - in-person (must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting).
