Elementary Teacher/Tutor

Dimensions:

Provide tutoring and educational support to students.

implement lesson plans in line with the Scholars curriculum.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

Utilize different teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.

Skills & Requirements:

Alberta teaching certification is an asset.

Candidates working towards their teaching certification are welcome to apply.

Previous experience working with children in a tutoring environment is an asset.

Excellent English oral and written skills.

Have a passion to help students reach their potential.

Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail.

Ability to teach in a 3:1 ratio.

Must be able to teach math up to grade 8.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week.

Monday-Thursday 4 - 8 pm

Saturdays 9 - 1 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:

Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
Language:

French (preferred)
Work Location: In person
