Cornerstone Christian Church of God Preschool (CCCG Preschool) is looking for caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators to join our team on a casual, on-call basis.

Position Details:

Shift Available:

7 Positions:

Casual on call

Hours Per Week:

Shifts are on an as-needed basis during preschool hours (between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Government Top-up:

According to ECE level

Responsibilities:

Implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Christian values. Provide a

safe, nurturing, and faith-filled

environment for children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Incorporate

Christian teachings

into daily interactions and activities. Monitor and assess child development. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and Christ-centered learning environment. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and adhere to all licensing regulations.

Requirements:

Faith Commitment:

Must be comfortable working in a Christian preschool setting and integrating faith-based principles into teaching.

Certification:

Must hold an

Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).

Candidates without certification will not be considered.*

Clearances:

Must have a

valid police background check

with a vulnerable sector screening.

First Aid:

Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

Experience:

Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, staff, and children. Passion for early childhood education and faith-based learning.
