Job description: Part-Time Dispatcher/Customer Service
Overview
We are seeking a part-time dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team as soon as possible.
Duties:
? Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
? Process data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records in our systems.
? Maintain effective communication with customers regarding patient transfer status. ? Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette.
? Work as a team and collaborate with the Team in order to determine the appropriate crews, pick- up times including required equipment for each call
? Multitask and effectively problem solve under pressure in a high call volume environment
? Monitor, update and control the location and movement of field staff while facilitating communications with both staff and clients
? Communicates with field crews to ensure appropriate resources, priorities and all necessary allocations
? Monitor and document response times of units, investigating and reporting all response time exceptions
? Adheres to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures
? Dispatchers to scan daily trip sheets to the Google drive
? Continually assesses, anticipates, identifies and responds to new and changing needs of clients Experience
? Previous experience in dispatch/customer service is preferred.
? Proficiency in data entry with strong typing skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.
? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interactions.
? Knowledge of geography and current traffic laws of the Greater Toronto Area
? Prior community health care experience is an asset
? Ability to work in a self-directed manner ensuring all assigned tasks are completed
? Proficient in Excel and Word.
Schedule & Availability:
This is a part-time position requiring flexibility. Candidates must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Shift Schedule: Sundays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Mondays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - (this can change) and casual fill in for employee sickness and vacations.
Minimum 2 days/week with possibility of more hours.
Pay Rate: We offer a starting wage between $18.00 and $19.00 per hour. The rate will be determined based on the skills and experience you bring to the team.
