Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dining Room Attendant in an established restaurant located in Mississauga for lunch hours. You will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them and responding to their needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a memorable and pleasant dining experience for guests
- Greet customers upon arrival and seat them accordingly
- Provide menus and respond to questions about food and beverage
- Anticipate guest needs and assist with food and beverage service
- Sanitize and set tables throughout the work shift
- Work safely; monitor the cleanliness of your section and ensure all areas are clean, safe and free from clutter.
- 1-2 years minimum experience as a restaurant attendant in Canada
- A positive, energetic outlook and a passion for customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and be active for the duration of work shift
