New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Deli Team Member at our Trader Ridge Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you'll do:

Provide an excellent customer experience Prepare a wide variety of deli meats, cheeses, party trays, fresh salads, deli sandwiches and hot and cold entrees Ensure all deli products are accurately priced and proper rotation is maintained in the coolers and retail area Ensure that all deli products are properly displayed, covered, stocked and labeled Ensure excellent food quality, quantity, freshness and presentation Execute activities related to store merchandising initiatives to offer customers additional products and services (e.g., special sale items) Perform additional duties as required

Who you are:

Excellent communication and customer service skills Enthusiastic approach to work Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Able to work independently and in a team Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required Must be a minimum of 18 years old Availability to work on a very flexible schedule
