We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of meals. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Participate in menu planning and development as needed, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment.

Skills

MUST HAVE current Food Handlers certification Proven experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customers' needs. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements as necessary.
