We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with medication administration, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of pharmacy operations while delivering high-quality service to patients.

Duties

Prepare Compliance Packages (Blister Packs) for pharmacy patients Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving supplies. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, providing medication information, and addressing concerns. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance pharmacy skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
