Humphrey Fleet Service Inc. is a trusted truck and trailer repair facility serving Stratford and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, safety, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for short-term support in our Parts and Service Operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver for a 3-month contract. This role will support our shop by delivering and picking up parts and equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner to deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors in a timely manner. Load and unload parts and equipment, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with the parts department to address any delivery-related issues. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries. Maintain delivery logs and ensure timely, accurate transport. Operate company vehicles safely and professionally. Follow all HFS health & safety procedures and traffic regulations.

Qualifications

Valid Ontario G driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract. Comfortable driving cube vans and other company vehicles especially in heavy trafficked areas. The right candidate will be tasked with driving from Stratford to the GTA. Strong time-management and communication skills. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, with occasional lifts above 50 lbs. Knowledge of truck parts is an asset but not required. Must be dependable and able to work independently.

Schedule & Contract Details

Part-time casual - flexibility required. Approx. 10-20 hours per week. 3-month contract with possible extension. Starting as soon as possible
