New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Cashier at our Trader Ridge Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This position offers approximately 5-15 hours per week.

What you'll do:

Greet customers in a friendly way, answer questions, and help them find products or information. Scan or enter items, and handle transactions accurately using cash, debit, or credit and be familiar with in store promotions and updates Receive payments, give correct change, and reconcile the cash register at the end of the shift. Bag, wrap, or package items carefully. Restock shelves, remove damaged or expired items, and make sure products are neat, priced, and easy for customers to find.

Who you are:

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills Enthusiastic approach to work Previous retail, cash handling or customer service experience preferred Able to work independently and in a team Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required Availability to work on a very flexible schedule
