Job Overview
Looking for a bookkeeper for our retail store. Must have Shopify knowledge. Should only take a few hours per week so this could definitely be a side job.
Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using software such as QuickBooks and Shopify. Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Assist with payroll reporting Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed for management review
Experience
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a similar industry (both in store and online retail) Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation Experience with account reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting is highly desirable Familiarity with payroll compliance requirements Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
Work Location: In person
