Duties:
- Operate espresso machine to prepare beverages

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages

- Follow recipes and guidelines for beverage preparation
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed

- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed

- Assist with shelving books for bookstore and helping customer find what they are interested in

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role required
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to execute tasks effectively

- Ability to engage customers interested in book selection
